Man this was so much fun to paint. The actual Chinese New Year is later in the month but I'm going to away from home that date so I wanted to get this painted and posted. 12 x 12 acrylic, coloured pencil, and metallic paint on illustration board. As a little girl I was so frustrated that I wasn't born in the Year of the Horse. This is the fifth year I've done a Chinese Zodiac piece. It's often fun to run with themes as inspiration. and how could I resist a horse theme! Want to see some step by steps on how I created it and help be keep producing art?
