Alright most of the time I get commissions characters that I love to draw, and ever so often I ger ones of characters that have been done way too many times in my opinion, this is one of them. Even though it is a request from J.Canty who has a absolute Hard-on for this Renamon, I never actually liked the character and never knew what the hype was over her, I just never thought she was hot. But I tried my best to make her look sexy.

Réna's attraction was because
1. Furries often don't discriminate between cute foxes and ugly foxes
2. She was the most intelligent character in the show (which is admittedly not saying much)
3. She could easily pass as a ninja and everybody knows what the deal is with ninja chicks

Rena in my favorite Season Three Digimon. Here's what I think of Renamon and her digivolutions:

Taomon (love the outfit, my favorite form)
Sakuyamon (now she's sexy w/o the armor and I love her heels)

Renamon was hyped so much that people (young ones) just went to her.
Yes she's strong and stuff. But the biggest thing was and especially in this fandom.
Is she's a vixen. Pure and simple.
A vixen is easy to draw and stuff.
With that vixens have the most appeal with drawing ease.

I was turned off Renamon /because/ Canty was proudly spamming his gift art from Dr.Comet et.al. into every YahooGroup he could sign up to, wether it was on charter for the group or not... :/

Hips and floof could push sexy buttons. From her expression, she obviously doesn't want to be "sexy". But the expression & body language implies a strong independent personality -- which is attractive.

I've never been a big renamon fan either, while the character did have its apeal in the series, I don't understand the big turn on myself.
Still, I really like this particular picture, and I think it certainly suits her. Not to mention it makes her look kind of cute(in that annoyed sort of way).

I totally agree with you, but I still love her. Was just a little weird for me when Renamon came out cause a couple year s earlier, I had a made up kitsune digimon that was red and fire markings where ren's cancer markings are and she looked simular to renamon. I was kinda baffled. Was funny :3

I'm aware that on some level, my own works do contradict what I just said. But I do it as a way to compensate for all the stuff out there that makes her a victim, or makes her out to be a mindless sex object. *shivers* that kind of stuff makes me sick...
