Two years of 24/7*
A lot has changed in the two years and a lot of changing has been done in the past two years. I didn’t think it possible. I’ve been diapered for as long as I’ve worked as a Light Vehicle Mechanic. Somewhat active and strenuous. You don’t need a desk job to be 24/7.

While it’s not diapers only (I usually use the toilet first thing in the morning, especially if it is a #2) But over the course of seven-hundred-and-thirty days I would hazard a guess that I’ve been in diapers for seven hundred days (accounting for times spent without, usually to let my skin heal/dry/breathe). Probably the best part is that I haven’t been back in real underwear for the whole time. That’s right - It’s been either diapers, a diaper cover or nothing. It’s great.
The biggest change I’ve noticed is my own ‘training’. I’ve always had impeccable, and annoyingly infallible toilet training. I remember back when I first started wearing diapers. I could not wet unless I really needed to go. Even then, I would need to calm my breathing, stand stock still and then only get like a quarter of my bladder out. Every time was an event that I needed to reason through in order to achieve the result that I want. Nowadays I can pee sitting down, standing, laying down, walking. There’s still a very real signal getting sent in order to do these things, I found that laying down and driving currently are the hardest to do, but I plan to train through that. It’s not really an anti to potty training, but more ‘diaper training’. I’ve gotten so much more comfortable just going which has made when I do use an ABDL diaper so much better.
Now there are some things that I do want to try, but can’t really at this time. I do want to have ‘wet nights’. I’ve not been a bedwetter when it would’ve been advantagous to, as I already knew at that point I liked diapers and so I probably would’ve tangented off of that to be a fulltime diaper-wearer. Maybe I couldn’t’ve due to having a lot of brothers. But I never had the opportunity anyway. Speaking of anyway, and tangents, I’ve never been a bedwetter but would like to be able to relieve myself in the night just so I don’t have to in the morning, but I would like to ‘go back’ if I was to do that, And I just don’t trust that’s possible, so I haven’t really looked into it.
Another change I’ve seen is the one of my attitude toward diapers. Every day I put one on. If I’m going out, I put one on. If I’m staying in, I put one on. If it’s wet, I change it. Gives me the freedom to mess if I really want to, too. But it’s not just that. Going 24/7 has meant that I also have these times where I do need to do something, but I need to also juggle my wearing. Even If I’m late for work, I need to put one on. If I need to go somewhere, but I’m very wet, I need to change before going. It’s become something that I do need to manage, but it’s good. I do like this/it’s manageable.
I found a reasonable compromise between all the things I need out of a 24/7 diaper – the price, absorbency, discreetness, the ability to ‘pull-down’ so to speak and durability are all things that I’ve had to take into consideration. Price is a big factor – especially in the early days. Supply was another issue, but were both sorted pretty well. Absorbency was a big consideration. I didn’t want something that was going to leak through in one wetting, but wasn’t going to cost a lot (padding discretion wasn’t a priority). For discretion, it was mainly making sure they were silent. That was it. The ability to pull down was major, as I didn’t want to ruin the diaper untaping then re-taping. Due to them being cloth-backed, I can untape them if I need to just after putting them on (I can’t once my body heat melts the adhesive on the tape, though). Durability is a bit of a tougher one. Whenever I’m at work, My body usually causes a separation of the waterproof layer on the right side of the garment at the rear where the tape wing and absorbent body meet. In the early days, toward the end of the day I had some of the absorbent material fall down in my pants – Luckily I don’t really use them at work. I’ve rectified the issue with a diaper cover, but it’s not ideal.

For the "bedwetting" thing, for me I just drank enough water to be woken up at night by the urge to go, and go as soon as im woken up without moving. I don't bedwet, and im not 247, but after doing this consistently for awhile I noticed i would wake up less. Either that or it happens so quick I don't remember waking up. Less urges to go when I wake up in the morning
Edit: I've toyed eith the idea of 24/7 and the hardest part for me is wearing while riding a motorcycle or driving a car

Yes and no, it depends on the night. Its more frequent if I drink more. It takes awhile to train your brain into thinking its ok to relieve the pressure without waking you up completely
You absolutely cannot move though. No holding it either, if you leak you leak. I recommend changing before bed. It will be easier to get used to if you do it this way. If you hold it after waking up your brain will keep waking you up

Are you able to control whether or not you do wet the bed though? There are times that I would need to not wet whilst sleeping, but would also like to bedwet most other times. If it's just a matter of going before bed and not drinking too much, that'd probably be a reasonable compromise.
If you remember - what time approximately would you wake up?

It would only happen if I was wearing, and trying to get it to happen, just inconsistent, varies from person to person. Thats just how my body works, and I can't recall what time, never checked, just sometime in the middle of my sleep hours.
I don't recommend it, but theres people out there that use foley catheters to get that effect at night. Heavy UTI risk though

So it'd only happen if you were anticipating it to happen (with the consequence of it not happening sometimes)? The inverse it what I'd worry about. How long did it take for you to get to the point you're at?
Probably wouldn't use a catheter. That seems a bit too much for the side effect of a UTI.
