So...story time...
This was THE moment. That last line of dialogue before Jasper slams the door was the original scene I pictured when creating Jasper's story. Everything in the comic grew around him standing up to the person who'd cast him aside. His ability to finally stand up for himself.
That panel is where the idea for this comic came from, and my energy was spent figuring out how to get to this point

Hold on... So it turns out that you first came up with this scene, and then began to build the plot of the entire graphic novel around it? BRAVO! Congratulations, Rutan-sensei. You did as you were supposed to do. It just turns out they talked all night? Or has the sun not set yet?
Percy rushed there to help Jasper but ended up watching his boyfriend stand up to his bully and win ^^
The only down side to this type of situation is how things are usually said and done without any thought and then during the calming down stage, the realisation of what you have said and done sets in and you panic about it and about what could happen next.....
However, I think Jasper will be ok as Percy is there to give him all the hugs, cuddles and snuggles he needs :3
