Probably found her true calling in this world's equivalent of the Air Force. Plus, this reminds me that both of my cousins have left college because they were flunking, and decided to join the U.S. Navy hoping to get their lives together. My father was the one who helped them accomplish that goal of getting in. They both joined years apart when they were individually college aged at the time they both individually joined. Back to the point of the artwork, it seems that Ann wasn't doing well in college that she decided to join the Air Force after repeatedly flunking. Thankfully, because she loves Davin so much, they both keep in touch and meet up for rendezvous whenever she gets home from deployment.
