Vannu has a rather frank and deadpan demeanor. He is often lightly judgmental, though not in a way intended to be cruel, and is prone to dry humor and sarcasm. While he doesn't dislike company, he is wary of it—especially of those who see Vannu as any sort of divine being. "I'm just me," he'd say, "living the life I want. I just also happen to be able to grant wishes."

Vannu does not particularly mind granting wishes, so long as they are not malicious and won't cause them any trouble. In fact, they find something satisfying about it, and feel something almost like an itch if they don't exercise their wish-granting for too long. That said, this doesn't stop them from judging these wishes out loud, and they also often ask for something in return, which they will also judge.
