I don’t know much about paints but perhaps you could water down the thick paint, if possible? <:3c I know that’s something people do! (Though, perhaps double check ;w;)

the problem was mostly that I'm out of my good white paint and had to use a very watered down heavy body paint instead so it took a lot of coats to get full coverage without it gumming up the detail.
I have some experience painting warhammer so it's familiar territory for me.
