The Grand Runnah is a fairly large ornithomimosaur native to the open grasslands of southern and western Elysium. Flocks of 10 to 20 individuals can be seen roaming through the region in search of seeds and fresh shoots. They don't see humans as food, which puts them at a relatively low threat level, but they can become aggressive during mating and nesting seasons.

While a Grand Runnah is most likely to run away from people, if approached, males will become aggressive if their mates or young are close. Whenever that occurs, they will start growling and swiping at a perceived threat, a fortunate warning display. If the perceived danger is a human who lingers too long, the Grand Runnah may rush them, kicking, pecking, and slashing the intruder. The attack won't stop until the threat is neutralized.

Such attacks are fortunately rare since people take warning signs and PSAs seriously… for the most part. Because there always has to be that one cretin who thinks that petting a wild animal is a "wonderful idea".
