5% for being pantsless. must have legs and that are visible
+5% if plantigrade
+5% if wearing shoes
+5% if the character is [stereotypically] female similar to the creature in the example drawing.
I can usually adapt a design to make it comply with this. It amuses me.
HOWEVER:
must not be backside fixated
digitigrade with "shoes" does not work for me
shirt must have at least short sleeves and cover at least half the midsection vertically and be closed horizontally
any discount would not affect the price of a background.
ALSO $10 is the MINIMUM amount that any commission price can be reduced to, because the lower the number is the higher paypal’s proportionate cut of the price seems to get. HOWEVER multiple sketchy iterations of the same character that might otherwise come out to less than $10 may be merged together at such a price each however, theoretically, but i would have to treat each case individually
I am expecting to be too busy to offer free "sketches" this year, and if i DID do that would not be until june and not on a website without a built-in share feature.
other commission types are ALSO available! But animation will take MUCH longer and i always have other projects going on, just to be clear.

Here I thought I was cheap. You're really undervaluing your work. Higher prices would filter out casuals and auto-select for "serious" fans only, thereby reducing the number of dummies you have to say "no" to because they haven't put any effort into understanding your particular interests.
I don't need people to understand my interests, and i cannot expect them to ever do so, but if their interests are completely at odds with what i am able to do then it is better that they be able to determine that before making a request. i also get so few applicants to begin with the topic rarely comes up. Once I stopped offering full colored drawings for less than $20 i had substantially fewer buyers and that was maybe 10 or more years ago. I have never had a solid grasp on how to attract customers who wanted what I could do well but I imagine if I keep trying different things I will figure it out or at least flop in a variety of ways.
