I set aside my weekend to work on the Beyond Home album. Recently I have formed a vision of the project and now BH is exclusively part of the story about Atom adventure. This is likely to be the name of Artbook. These illustrations will be accompanied by short stories by thereisn0d4t4. Thank you so much for your hard work! I also did a small makeover to celebrate the birth of our creative alliance.

RAY'S VIEW FROM THE GLACIERS OF TRL4-GR
Beyond Home
Down on the surface, in a quadrant within, a region, within a solar system, down atop one of what looked like an infinite series of interlocking glaciers covering the surface of the planet, slowly trotting and stepping, carefully plotting a path through the crystal like substrate bellow it's feet, pushed and battered by the wind forces of the nitrogen and Helium dominated atmosphere, it's servos, actuators and effectors executing the thoughts of it's internal logic, there walked a little rover, it's camera scanning the area with curiosity, with intent, as he traversed the terrain his battery slowly wearing away trying to keep up with the extreme temperature, alongside him walked an an astronaut, clad in an orange Temperature resistant exploration suit, his helmet crystalline in appearance, his breath slow and steady as they traced a path across the ice-sheets.
In the distance a sight, an expanse of white and blue as far the curvature of the planet's surface allowed the sight to reach, above them an equally endless expanse of a not too dissimilar shade of blue, it all made each step feel more and more miniscule in feel than the previous hundred.
For a moment they stopped and stared, took the sound of the wind as it howled around them without a shred of mercy, The UV radiation was just as merciless, the brightness of the sun against the snow reflected without a medium to properly slow it, if it weren't for the coatings on the Helmet, the Astronaut would most certainly be almost instantly blinded; yet strangely enough he suddenly found himself squinting.. trying his best to focus his sight down-range, to a small, odd green glow, so tiny it'd be impossibly invisible from 10 meters more.
This strange impossibility confused the Astronaut, as far as he was aware there was no life to be found on this planet, the preliminary scans from the ship marked the conditions non viable, and they were too far from the sun to have any type of activity, further more, the light seemed to glow in an upwards direction, almost like a bulb occluded behind a cracked wall;
The astronaut reached to the companion rover:
[Atom] - Ray, can your sensors see that? about 235 degrees west.. I know it's likely a hallucination but- is that a light source?
[Ray] - Yes.. I Can see it, it seems to be arising from bellow the ice- the spectral analysis would suggest the rapid oxidation of boron-manganese
[Atom] - "Oxidation? I thought this planet's atmosphere was barely 0.02% Oxygen, further more where would a catalyst strong enough to remove the oxide layer off whatever mineral is causing this come from exactly?
[Ray] - I am uncertain as to that very question my self, It's possible that the atmospheric state in this area of the planet is such that the oxygen which is of higher mass than both the Helium and Nitrogen settles at the surface level, and collect into ravines formed through geologic processes, this would explain the high concentration of oxygen in these areas, these *'cold pools'* are the lowest altitude and there for the perfect location for the oxygen to gather.
[Atom] - Ok.. that explains where the oxygen is playing into all of it.. but that still doesn't answer the question of the reaction.. how does Boron-Manganese even enter the 'cold-pool'?
[Ray] - I suspect that this may be a case of extreme luck Atom, maybe an asteroid that crashed here millions of years ago from a nearby star system, buried it self deep into the snow, far above what was then the surface level where oxygen collected, and as the ice layered over and the 'cold-pools' grew in altitude it was only a matter of time until the perfectly sealed asteroid came into contact with the oxygen and began the reaction, the hydrocarbons encrusted in the many crevices of the asteroid would be doing the heavy lifting of this reaction.
[Atom] - ..Damn.. that's kind of poetic Ray.. have you considered writing stories?
[Ray] - I find your taste in poetry rather worrying..
[Atom] - Hey now! I mean it, It's really something to think about..
[Ray] - Maybe some day.. for now I think it's best we continue moving, our atmospheric mix supply was calculated very precisely, there is not much room for delay
[Atom] - Right! just hold on a second I want to grab a picture.. for posterity's sake
[Ray] - Alright. just make it fast we need to reach the peak and recover the beacon before it gets dark-
[Atom] - Yep Yep! Let me grab the ca-
The timing of the decision could not have been improved, just was the pair stood to document the occurrence a wave of atmospheric pressure rolled over them, knocking the Astronaut to his tail, the fall as silent, and by the time the Astronaut managed to focus his sights, before them something new and unreal revealed it self, an anomaly unlike anything they had documented during their voyage across the heavens./
[color=#EAE5C8]It was a show of light, a sound, one that was so difficult to describe, a sight so beautiful and enchanting, even the little rover's often pedantic speech failed to put it in words; It was as if Gravity and light began to play with each other, an event of such a magnitude and beauty, for a moment the rover stopped, as it's sensor array tried to make sense of the immaculate anomaly before it, the readings indicated that there was a sudden change in atmospheric pressure and density as one approached the anomaly's position, so much so that the Hydrogen and Helium entered a hypo-fluid phase, one in which the barrier between Gas, Solid and Liquid blurred and only the slightest disturbance caused the sudden solidification of the mixture.
The rover thought to it self how wonderous of a event this was, how extremely rare must this planet be for this to occur, and further more, if the rover and the astronaut hadn't been there to witness it, document it, record and catalog it, than it' would go unnoticed for what remained of time.
[Atom] - Ray... what are we looking at.. this is.. this can't be real can it?
[Ray] - You were talking about poetry.. well I believe this is what they like to call a Miracle..
[Atom] - Yeah.. that's a good word to use...
With a quick snap of his helmet mounted camera the astronaut captured the anomaly in its full glory, it was petrifyingly beautiful, the thought that something so unique could happen right before their eyes.
[Ray] - Atom we must keep moving... I'll record the field data but we are going to run out of time if we stand here for much longer
[Atom] - I know- just a few more seconds Ray.. I need to feel this..
The look of wonder and frustration, joy and worry overtook the Astronaut as he looked longingly at the anomaly as it slowly evolved it's weird crystal lattice form, before long he had his fill, and began to walk, within him there was anger at the limited time and resources they had, because if it were for any other reason, he'd stand there and look onto that anomaly until the sun gave it's life...
[Ray] - Don't worry Atom.. we'll find our way back, we'll find home again.
[Atom] - Yeah.. Sigh I know we will, we must.. let's go, I wanna eat jelly sandwiches when we get back to the ship..
[Ray] - We'll make extra today!
And so they soldiered on, straddling the ridge of the Glacier, headed directly for the Ship beacon sent from orbit during atmospheric entry.
Often nature performs miracles with no intended target or effect, Turning it's sights back onto the path ahead the rover began to continue it's exploration of the area, thinking to it self what a strange thing nature was, as it walked it's camera would occasionally turn to observe the anomaly, it's large crystalline structures seemingly suspended mid air, the incredible glow of the light as it passed through the HypoLiquid region and onto it's sensor array, at the very least, this is pure beauty.

What a magnificent piece of art!
I love both little story and environment story-telling being implemented here
Truly breathtaking sight to behold
I honestly love when something semi-real and totally sci-fi'ish are done in such way it can be even believable
It is not enough arts in furry community that experiment and show more unusual and science-fiction scenes and actually focus on the world building
Simply awesome piece
