So Ace got together with a super-villain by name of Goldie, because she was super strong and tough, and thus could safely have sex with him. He cleared her criminal record through a combo of bribery and blackmail, I MEAN, sincere persuasion.

Their relationship wasn't an easy one, but Ace was used to having to work for what he got. Eventually, Goldie accepted that La Vida Loca was no longer for her, and started to get into the straight life. So she was unprepared when a couple of Planetary Defense agents, looking to test out their brand-new sci-fi blasters on a supervillain, shot her dead.
This angered Ace to an unprecedented degree, and shortly afterwards, those same agents went missing. As you see above, their boss thinks he knows who is to blame for their disappearance.

Agents of an agency in charge of alien management, feeling so arrogant and untouchable, that they killed a young woman, basically for the internet lulz? Good thing such a thing can't happen in real life....
