OK so basically I got hepatitis from some antibiotics, and now something or other chemical is through the roof and it makes me feel like my skin is burning up and that I'm going to be sick on everything in a ten mile radius.

Only in NZ could you get screwed over like that :/ If I'm reading this right - you went to the doc to get some antibiotics and because they couldn't sterilize things correctly, they infected you with Hepatitis?? Ugh, I do hate the whole 'sue mentality' of the US, but this is a case where it really does apply, they need their asses handed to them as they're fucking with your LIFE.
Holy fuck dude, that sucks ass big-time. If there are any legal avenues to take, I'd suggest looking into them. Don't let guilt stop you. Without knowing more it could be not the fault of the doctor. The pharmaceutical company could be at fault. Nail their balls to a wall, I say.
