I was doing my hardest to draw happy photos when laying with my cat during the last moments of his life. We finished this one together and the following morning he passed. I was happy to know that he was seeing me draw happy things and know I will be okay. This is the last piece I made with him in my life. It was meant to close the circle about the valley we lived in together in Pennsylvania. Where Glacia was created, we were in the valley. When I draw these flowers, it is always connected to this valley. Last year I drew Glacia in the valley, broken and put back together. Now, she sits with a smile and glowing.
