Beauty rivals her name sake,
A delicate flower with petals of divinity.
Peel them back to find within,
Beauty shines inside her once again.
All about her the bees will swarm,
In vain attempts to take their piece.
Yet that beauty’s reserved for her desire,
Someone to take the whole and love it so.
So deserved is the love she receives,
Though this fact she refuses to believe.
Her soul is pure and intent divine,
Occasionally led astray by well-crafted lies.
Far and wide her quest she seeks,
What she looks for not revealed.
On she searches in an endless quest,
To find what her love at home oft behests.
Final she settles, bright and merry,
Her love beside her, heart complete.
Her life at peace and her happiness very,
For together stay – each other’s love what she’d seek.
A poem written for and dedicated to the love of my life, Blossome.
