I just got back from Bristol. Was a part of the opening

Bristol?! Lucky. I never went to Thunder Valley.

It was great. The reception we got there was amazing. I was a part of the opening. They had a bunch of service men and women march down to the bottom of the track (inside the fence) during the opening ceremonies while a guy on a parachute dropped in with an American Flag and "God Bless the USA" was playing. It was AWESOME. So yeah, got to see the race after that. I tell you what, the track is so small there isn't a bad seat in the place. I was 6 rows up in the middle of turns 3 and 4 and had a clear view of the entire track. If you ever have the chance to go there, take it. I was fortunate I got to go for free.

I've been going to Talladega since I was 8. The best view is the nosebleed section, like row 36 on the backstrech. But the sights and sounds are amazing. Especially in full draft. The view from up there IS nice. With binoculars you can see Turns 3 and 4 and the front oval. Without them you got a bird's eye view of Turns 1 and 2 where a lot of the tangling and wrecking happens.

Yeah, Thunder Valley has no bad seats. Like I said, at 6 rows from the track I had full view of the entire raceway. If you ever have a chance to go, do it.
