I liked the first Jazz Jackrabbit game for what it was, in a pure DOS sort of way. The second one seemed rather sparse and incomplete in comparison despite having a more "professional" presentation, though in any case i was not thinking about that when drawing this!
But now that I think of it, the first level IS in a vague orange-material-constructed location like this.
