I was musing about how I was craving some bacon wrapped dates and some folks chimed in with their favorite ways to serve them. One internet friend of mine,
CommodoreMarie, who happens to have a goat character, mentioned that she likes them best with herbed goat cheese.
The problems with drawing a comic consisting solely of animal people is I'm sure some social boundaries get crossed that just wouldn't happen with an all human cast. Oh well, at least Ben & Jerry's said no to the suggestion of making their ice cream out of human breast milk (yes this really happened), so I'm safe...for now.

It might be even weirder if those dates were being shared by a pig character... Due to bacon, that would be borderline creepy. Okay, past borderline.
Heh, understandable! :D It definitely adds complication. The fact that i enjoy thinking about it makes me wish i was a writer.

Speaking of online comics and animal/animal people relationships, not sure if you're familiar with Vivisection Bob's online comic, "Cheap Thrills". She has a comic of animal people but some of them are kinda...mixed breed looking things because things like badgers and wolves and ferrets are "purebreds" (like races) but if you're a culture of animal "people" mingling about you're going to interbreed with another kind of animal (race) at some point. It's very loosely implied, but you can tell not all of the animals look like one particular thing and some animals are dating other kinds of animals. The artist explains it better in the FAQ XD

>.>; Played a vampire for too long I swear... Hm. I wonder how a cow would handle things...everything in the RL's made of milk, got milk in it...
These are the questions that are fun to answer at three AM!
One of these days, I should order myself some goat cheese. I hear it's good. And I'll try any food at least once.
And as you mentioned and is discussed in comments above, yeah, it's definitely interesting to consider the implications of different animal products on an "animal" inhabited world. Would create some tense and/or awkward situations some times, definitely!
Last but not least, I think I'm totally going to have to make those next week. Talk about a craving now!
I'll send you the high res artwork, it doesn't have the text but at least its biggified :3
And yeah oh man drawing them makes them look like cockroaches, I just can't do them delicious justice, must have them noooowwww ;__;
