Day 488 - February 4th, 2742
Mayor Ariel arrived at her destination today. Things went about as expected. Meet with people, get chewed out. Meet more people, get chewed out again but with a larger audience. Then some back-and-forth questions and talks about how things are proceeding from there on out.
She dodged the bullet there, but they are putting her on a tighter leash it seems.
But that was not what Lily and Pathfinder were after. We finally had a good look at McGrath himself. A glimpse into his complex and even his office. Lots of trophies of war it looks like, and he even has a seaside view.
Pretentious fucking prick, living like a king while your 'people' live in huts and shacks.
Seemed that this struck a cord with Lily too as I could see anger build up in her again. I had to basically cuddle her just to keep her focused on the task at hand.
And I did try my hand at all the data analysis and interpolation stuff, but Lily is clearly much better than me at it, so I let her run wild and helped her where I could. But I often just watched when Ariel was recording something.
