He exposes the fears and secrets of his contestants in the form of demonic illusionary stage props called “phobias” and sets “scenarios” all cultivated to torture the minds of the contestants on his show. If they conquer their fears, they are rewarded with whatever they desire, but once they wake up, they realize that their granted wish was only a hallucination.
