Been a bit since I did some Returners art, it feels like... granted, making VV-verse OCs has taken up most of my mental focus lately (whatever of it isn't devoted to commissions or work stuff), but I figure I might rectify that with Trey's kitty boy Rider.
Per Amy Rose's advice, Rider traveled to Grimwood Village to meet with the forested town's local 'Matron' in the hopes of better understanding the Phantom Ruby he was implanted with. But perhaps his ungroomed fur and unrefined behaviors were too much for Mrs. Gossamer to handle, for in the process of her 'educating' the boy on the unpredictable energies of the Ruby she took it upon herself to educate him in etiquette and fashion too...
Made for quite the surprise for his friends, when they dropped in to visit after a week of his 'training' with the witch. Surely she'll reverse it soon, right...?

I know the bonnet/general dress look were lifted from some other feminization piece (I think of Re:Zero?), but I can’t provide the link off the top of my head. Still, I definitely find that a “maximalist” approach in fashion is most to my liking; I love filling up 19th-century attire with all manner of trims and froufrou embellishments~
Hmmm I wasn’t aware a dress of similar style appeared in re:zero, it reminded me a bit of the dress worn by the doll in blood born (though yours is a lot cuter x3).
That I have to agree with you on, while classical more Victorian or royal outfits are quite beautiful, stylizing them with addition intricate embellishments and embroidery designs adds towards their appeal immensely!

Hmm, you say that like you have firsthand experience with such classes… :P
But I suppose etiquette & dressmaking classes are things Mrs. Gossamer certainly could offer. Whenever she’s not pondering the arcane or making daily rounds of Grimwood, it’s not like she has much better to do
