The wind howls as the blizzard rages outside the window, the expected winter storm hitting in at full blast. The storm is easily forgotten a the group of friends enjoys each other's company within the warm walls of the cozy cottage. The mantle is decorated with stockings and garland as the crackle of the fireplace fills the room with its warm glow. The smell of fresh pine wafts from the tree in the corner. a plate of cookies rests on the middle of the coffee table, a plate which was once full, now down to but a handful of sweet treats.
"More hot chocolate everyone?"
Aurora happily asks to the group in an almost singsong voice as she returns from the kitchen with a tray filled with mugs of steeping hot cocoa, topped with whipped cream and homemade marshmallows. The others giving their thanks as everyone settles in for the night, sharing stories and creating new memories
