Front Cover art for my first real music release as Ocelot Spirit, which will be coming out a week and a day from the time this goes live.
Photomanipulation from my own photos, including one that is particularly special to me...
...Bragin the ocelot was a resident of my local zoo for a long time. He arrived there the same year I became a regular visitor and I got to know him quite well. He was not very good with people but I was one of the few he actually seemed to like.
He passed away in March of 2024 at nearly 24 years old. He was the oldest male ocelot in the world for a few years before he died. I knew him for twelve years which I think is still the longest time I've known any animal for.
The cat's face you can see around the middle-right hand side of the picture is from my favourite photo I took of him. And, while it's probably needless to say, this name I'm taking on this and subsequent music projects is for him.
Track 2 on the album -- the first song after the intro -- is also about him, in a way.
Jungle Prints is an industrial rock album written, recorded, and produced by me as Ocelot Spirit. It releases on February 16th. It will be coming out at https://ocelotspirit.bandcamp.com/
(Update: release is most likely going to be delayed until February 19th because it turns out I need some time to talk to paypal customer support first)
