Okay, now that the current storyline is finished in Port Able I have an announcement to make. I hope this doesn't upset anyone, but I'm going to be taking a 3-4 month hiatus from Port Able. There are multiple reasons for this, so let me explain.

1) This last storyline was longer than expected and had some behind the scenes frustrations that made it very exhausting to do. I'm happy I finished it, and overall, I'm pretty happy with the outcome. But it's also left me wanting to take a bit of a break from doing the comic for a while. I hope that's understandable.

2) I want to stress I'm not short on ideas and I don't want to stop doing Port Able permanently. I still love the comic, the characters, and have a lot of ideas. I've just been really bad in the past about overworking myself on comic projects to the point of completely burning myself out on them. This has caused some of my past projects to go from passion project to work, and I want to prevent that from happening with Port Able. So I'm taking this long break for both my health and the sake of the comic itself.

3) I also want to work on another project for a while. Another problem I have is I constantly get a lot of neat ideas for new projects, but have to put them on the back burner to keep working on whatever my current project is. This often causes me to forget or lose interest in the new project idea, but also it sometimes causes me to also lose interest or even resent the current project since it's keeping me from working on the new idea. So I'm going to take this break to give me a chance to work on some other ideas floating in my head, especially one I'm sure you're all aware of by now.

4) Let's be honest, I'm not getting any younger, so I'd like to have the chance to make as many projects as I can, even if it's going to cause my main project to be put on hold for a while. I've come to accept the fact I'll probably never be able to make a living doing comics and videos like I would want, and if that's so, I can at least try and make as many comics and projects as I want before I leave this cruel world. So I hope you're all willing to be understanding and accepting with this decision to go on hiatus.

I hope you guys aren't too upset with this info. I love you all, and I hope 2026 will be a good year for all of us.
