Vampires are made, and their makers aren’t always comprehensible.

Rin’s sire, exhibited here, is definitely a “horrors beyond comprehension” thing. It being an extradimensional entity means that the vampirism it bestows is logic-breaking as well.

Rin’s vampirism has a “discovery point” where they encounter this entity, and it is transferred, but it simultaneously always seemed to exist in Rin. It’s a condition that displays itself beyond time itself, regardless of any alternate scenarios, choices, etc.
