Story
Amendelwyr settled down on her familiar stone by the water and licked her chops clean. She looked into the pond again, spying something... "What's down there?" Reaching in, she pulled free some magicite crystal!
Nah! Let's make this a little more... magical!~
On a bright, sunlit dawn, the fair dragoness sat by the pond. She took in the sky's breath, its subtle hues, of sky's brightest following after baby blues. She had just fed, licking her chops of breakfast's hunt. There were plenty of bleating goats to eat, maybe another for lunch? However, the pond's water was dark, and she thought, "What's down there?" a lot. Especially when a glimmer came through, was it a ring, a crown? Hopefully not a brass coin or two. So as yet, her claws swayed the lush green, discovered some magicite crystal flecks, hidden in a stone. "Oh!" she cried out, "Just what I need!" The treasure found was useful indeed. Finding blue crystals wasn't common you see. A more powerful catalyst for spellweaves she made. The strongest of all made blue necessary. The Skywarden would have to come back again. T'was much to discover in these waters! Somewhere she'd return to now and then.

Perhaps you may have spied this piece floating by, but I was a little late to find time to place it before your eyes myself. I just love Ashes' detailing of flora and how it plays with a scene and subject. And I, for whatever reason, wanted to write a little whimsy to it. Then it came to mind I could use it for sharing a quick lesson about creative writing. Angle your words up and down. Give them sound and colors. Make it something you can feel. Speak them aloud in your head with tones and different speeds. Slow yourself down as you write and hear the words... then write.~
