Well on that note, I can only guess since I didn't write this page. But in my head canon, having the metal arm attached has a "Full Metal Alchemist" effect to it. It shocked all of the nerves in Julie-Su's shoulder, causing massive pain. I think that combined with the situation just sent her over the edge emotionally for a moment.
