"Come on - it's almost magic, it can do anything except wood. And sonic rainbooms. Atleast I think so. All my attempts to create one of those failed."
The idea comes from last year's Festival Fantazie, the biggest Czech SF & F con with multiple program lines. While I'm not a Potter fan, I think every line had something interesting.
I have to say I enjoy crossovers far too much more than I should. Even more if I know the crossed stories/universes.

I've been trying to find a book I heard about on "Coast to Coast AM about a year ago called "The power of the wand." The author stated that a "Magic Wand" is mostly an object that the one wielding it uses to focus their magical energies through. Not only could this object be a wooden rod like structure that has certain "Magical" materials secured in it, but he also made valid points that these "Wands" could also be common tools. Artists use paint brushes, Sculptors use carving and forming tools. Mechanics and technicians use their large tools in this way as well.. Of course model builders... Now there's one of the most powerful "Magics" of all.
