A slightly Early birthday piece (why are so many of these birthday pieces) for the great  ArcticFirebird and their character Eitala, which I've drawn a few times now :P

Compared to the other Bday pieces this lacks the silly hat, essentially it was just a free request piece for whatever. Where here the request was for a "casual" relaxed pose, wearing a "crop top" sweater and a focus on the stockings from before, more in line with the slight design tweaks I've been using for Sass. The other big switch up is the patterns, since my last pieces Arctic had gone ahead and filled out a ref sheet from another artist and designated all sorts of patterns that I'd wanted to try and capture, which definitely threw me for a loop but I do think the results were kinda cool, especially on the wings where it pops the most. Its cool to see the design in a specifically less decorated manifestation then the normal royal attempts.

IN general what is there to say that I haven't in most my descriptions lol, shading is rough and rushed, foreshortening bit me with the leg in this one but the pose is a good idea, and I still dont know how to do folds incase the shorts weren't a give awawy. I am still happy wit the better parts of this piece, the foreground eye really pops for how simple it is and I like it alot, the hand I also felt came out pretty compared to usual and the sweater I do like with the sleeves. The clothing definitely feels alot more natural while still being the focus unlike the mantles piece even if it is still rough
