Backlogged art from a comic project I've been doing off-and-on for about a year now.

Our second protagonist: a studious girl sewing the seeds of her academic future while investigating the local mysteries she can't find in books. Positioning herself the leader of her school's cryptid club, she dives headfirst into any local happening she catches wind of, despite her "club" being only three members strong.

Deterministic to a fault, Geist throws her whole being into anything she does, prone to letting her emotions take precedent until she learns the facts. If she has a question, she will drop everything until she has an answer. Naturally, she is prone to losing herself in her work, often needing to be forced to rest by her friends. She may winge about it, but deep down she loves them dearly.

The biggest mystery occupying her mind throughout her adventures is the disappearance of her sea-faring father, from a capsized boat with no body. In her heart she knows he's in the harbor somewhere. Both he and the rest of Vanish Hill's phenomena can't just be coincidence. (How much of this is her own and how much is influence from her hippie conspiracist mother has yet to be seen).
