They're mated for life and very dedicated to each other.
They became exiled from Yautja society along with Kashyll's brother, Nih'kou'te.

Kashyll wants to provide the best life he can for her, given the circumstances and would not hesitate to die to protect her.
Kantra feels a lot of guilt about getting the group exiled, but intends to make the best of it, and make sure Kashyll does not carry any of the guilt onto himself.
