Nacido en Coabana (Cuba) Rafael Olivera fue, ante todo, un hombre que buscaba el límite. Se unió a la Revolución no por ideología profunda, sino por una mezcla de hambre de gloria y desprecio por su propia supervivencia. Para él, la guerra ofrecía dos recompensas aceptables: convertirse en leyenda o morir intentándolo.
Cuando la isla se integró al bloque soviético, llegó Octobriana, la agencia suprema de contraespionaje y antiterrorismo del bloque del Este. Sus reclutadores vieron en Rafael un gran potencial.
Convertido en uno de los primeros modelos de ciborg operativos, Rafael se transformó en un arma viviente. Por su frialdad y letalidad se ganó el apodo de “La parca” pues se decía que una vez tenía un blanco esa persona ya podía darse por muerta. En el bloque oriental su nombre era leyenda. En el occidental, un presagio funesto.
Pero la guerra tecnológica no se detiene. Con el tiempo, nuevas generaciones de agentes biológicamente optimizados y equipados con cibernética de punta comenzaron a eclipsarlo. Más rápidos, discretos y eficientes.
Oficialmente, fue retirado del servicio de campo. Extraoficialmente, fue ascendido.
Hoy es el Jefe de sector de Octobriana en el continente Terranova (America), una posición “administrativa”. Aunque ya no esté en la primera línea, su presencia aún infunde respeto y temor. Los jóvenes agentes conocen su historia. Los veteranos saben que aún podría matar con la misma precisión de antes. El juego continua y “La Parca”, ahora es uno de los que controla el tablero.

But technological warfare doesn't stop. Over time, new generations of biologically optimized agents equipped with cutting-edge cybernetics began to eclipse him. Faster, discreet and more efficient.

Officially, he was retired from field service. Unofficially, he was promoted.
Today, he is Octobriana's Sector Chief on the continent of Terranova (America), an "administrative" position. Although no longer on the front lines, his presence still inspires respect and fear.
