His hand is flipped, in this pose the index would be on the bottom alongside the thumb, and the other fingers would go up from there. If you try to do this with your hand you'll see you can only get to this pose by having your palm face towards your body, rather than forward

but i sometimes get a piece of information, usually visual that keeps coming back to me for a extended time for long enough that i remember it anew but short enough that i dont think further about it usually
in this case it was the case of backwards hands
