Everyone’s been incredibly supportive of Gally’s redesign, and I’m really happy to finally share something he’s been missing for a long time: his origin story of how this new form, and his bond with Telthus, came to be.
A big goal of this redesign was to make Gally feel like more than just “a knightly Gallade” or “a Gallade with a necktie”. His new look is more visually distinct, but more importantly, his role has evolved too. He’s shifted away from being a straightforward fighter and more into what he was always meant to be: a mix of support, healing, and battlefield positioning: moving through danger with precision and grace.
In a way, it mirrors my own growth. I’m not the same person I was ten years ago when I first created Gally… and I don’t think he is either.
