A smirk flashed in the darkness, Seraphyx recognized it. Her sister.
The spear entered her chest between the ribs. She gasped, watching the first crystal rise from the fresh wound, then the second. She had been betrayed, cursed by her own blood.
The spear was sown into flesh like a seed. Quartz grew through veins and tore through muscle and sinew. Seraphyx clawed the earth, fighting the transformation. By dawn, half her body had turned to stone, become a crystalline geode - but her heart remained intact. She survived, and swore revenge.
And so she followed this path to its conclusion. Without a regret nor a trace of former familial compassion. Gods dont die, but this one is gone
