dream squid are dreamer enemies found in chapter 1 of needle travels, inhabiting only the hinking caves, specifically the sewers of this dungeon cave. they use electric attacks with water patterns on the bullet board. when rockwell is defeated, they become NPCs in the hinking caves. In the beginnin' and epilogue of chapter 2, they are recluited as NPCs in mannatials from funky town along with other water dreamers of this zone. in the anomalous route, they attempt to escape the party, but fail and they are killed by the party. in chapter 2, post-anomalous route, they are buried in the old graveyard in funky town. they can also be found in geek world as NPCs in the marine environment of the search zone, bein' NPCs only found in this area. they are dreamers with a squid-like appearance, featurin' a white body, long, fingerless arms, four small, circular feet, a mockin' face, yellow W-shaped stripes on the top of their head, and a jester-like hat on their squid-like upper mantle. their stats are 140 HP, 6 attack, and 0 defence.
