Commission by NicNak: Kaari and Deandra, silly in love (clr)
So, with Valentine's Day coming up, when
Nicole opened up for sketch upgrades, I figured the obvious choice was this one of Kaari and Deandra from... four years ago, gah. So here we have Kaari Bronseklo and Deandra Wassetal, a dragoness and the knight who loves her, in their second full-colour pic. (The first one is here.)
Not sure if I'll ever write more with these two: I had fun with four short stories that all took place over the course of a few days. But my brain does weird things to me at times,
Artist's posting at https://www.furaffinity.net/view/64035932/ so go check things out there, too!

Yeah, these two were fun to write. They met when the dragon was trapped in a smaller form as a tigress by a divine curse, and got to know and care for each other while working on breaking that curse. They really do care for each other, even if the dragon still has some of the usual arrogance of the species.
I enjoy playing muse!
I actually wrote four sequential short stories about these two, starting here (with prev/first/next links set up) as the ideas built themselves up in my head over time.
And yes, Kaari the dragon is technically a bronze dragon (I gave her full name as Kaari Bronseklo, or 'Bronzeclaw' from Norse), but after spending basically the last century trapped in the form of a tigress by a divine curse, the stripes are a little more obvious than they used to be.
