How Cupid Bucky met Psyche Jane Doe π [VDAY COM]
This is how Cupid Bucky ππͺ½ and his future wife, Psyche Jane Doe πΈπ¦ first met.
Cupid Bucky flew too close to the sun (mirroring how Icarus flew too close to the sun and perished), blinded himself, and crash landed.
His future wife, Psyche Jane Doe, was a mortal girl living in the mountains where golden apples β¨π and healing herbal flowers β€οΈβπ©ΉπΈ grew, seeing the wounded winged being before her, she quickly mashed the apples and flowers into a salve to help heal him.
Moved by her kindness, he fell in love with her. π
I kinda like to think she didnβt know he was Cupid, she kinda he figured he was either a fat harpy or some sort of deer Pegasus. π

I wanted to give Cupid Bucky and Psyche Jane Doe a more meaningful love story, unlike the original where Cupid fell in love with Psyche simply because he nicked himself with one of his own arrows. I tied in a bit of Icarusβs story along with the Golden Apples which were one of Herculesβs labors, as they were supposed to have amazing healing powers.

Also, even though this song below is of Orpheus singing about Eurydice, I admittedly like to think of Cupid Bucky singing this song to the other Gods to allow Psyche Jane Doe to become a Goddess and join them in their heavenly abode.
