"After a while, I hear soft snoring. Its not loud, its calm. Looking over my shoulder and fully moving myself to the other side. I see him with all eyes closed. No orange glow, no moving tendril, just quiet. Is this normal for a beholder? I've read they are very suspicious of this surroundings and cautious of those around. Never knew one would be so sweet."
*softly touches his face*
"Maybe he is awake and I'm just being rude. What's wrong with me? I'm in this mans bed with a broken ankle and I'm being disrespectful by touching him..."
*Sees one tendril above lightly open and shuts closed*
Time to try to sleep but... I'm thankful of you. Thank you"

He tries to get as much sleep as possible and rarely ever has all his eyes shut. Maybe knowing someone is there with him allows him to relax a little bit more. When you see an eye shut, know that eye is getting its sleep. A rare sight!
