Ah-oh, Sam snaps out of her deep thoughts about her current project to the realization that one of the other lab workers is trying to make small talk! What did they say just now? It had something to do with rain. It might be about the weather, but isn't there a new show with "rain" in the title? They're looking at her like they're expecting her to say something! She only barely avoids tugging on her ear as she tries to call Social Sam up into service. How long have they been staring? Come on, Social Sam, hurry!
Finally, the gears catch and Sam gives them a friendly smile. "Oh, I haven't seen the new episode yet. Did you like it?" Whew! They're launching into a recap about the after-episode podcast. Awkward moment successfully navigated!
