So this is my new DND character- Div'Ira, the abandoned angel. TL;DR is that in Athas (the setting we're playing in) the gods fully abandoned the world after some sorcerers got too powerful, and Div'Ira wasn't able to go with them. Since she couldn't draw from her god's well of power anymore, she basically became human with a bit extra. Now she's wandering the wastes in search of... something. Probably just a place to rest
