This is an illustration that the legendary Bob Hall did of me at Imagicon 2024, commissioned and drawn same day.
I am in my town sheriff outfit, which I had been wearing as a recurring act at the local historical society events, where I would mock "arrest" people for donations and put them in a real restored turn of the century jail house. I thought it was a fitting character for the convention, and some locals already knew me as that character. I am illustrated here with my real disarmed replica 1858 Remington

I'm so glad I bought this back when I had a job.
Im kind of a local personality, even out of this character. The whole costume is just stuff from my closet, I dress like this anyway. I had a guy recognize me at a party, because he saw me in Walmart 3 years ago. I had a guy approach me and chat because he saw me pull up to a car show with my car on a trailer 2 years ago. A local news media guy recognizes me as the sheriff and addresses me that way on camera.
It's fun, but most of the time I have no idea who these people are.
