"Shadow Dracomon.

Type: Virus.

Shadow Dracomon is the result of an attempt to clone a Dracomon so that it's power could be used by those who wished to abuse it. However, it's data got corrupted in the process, resulting in a variant rather than a full clone. It's strength rivals that of it's original parent, though it posses shadow powers rather mastery of flames.

It's primary attack is Shadow Lash, where it extends a solid tentacle of sorts from it's own shadow to strike at it's enemies. It can also descend into it's own shadow to both move through cramped spaces and dodge attacks. It can use the attack Pepper Breath, but this seems to be the limit to it's fire breathing abilities. It's flames are also a bright green instead of orange.

Although not evil, it possess an irritable temperament that makes it quick to anger. It rarely ever lets its guard down or let others get close to it. Because of this, other Digimon have a low opinion of it, expecting it to one day go off the deep end and need to be struck down.

Deep down though, it seems to long for companionship.

Knowing the potential danger the hidden potential of a Dracomon possess, and concerned for what potential danger this variant could represent, the Royal Knights came together and placed bands upon it in order to keep it in check. These bands are impossible for the Shadow Dracomon to remove itself.

It is heavily monitored by the Royal Knights, and is currently under the watchful eye of it's newest recruit, whom has orders to strike it down should it prove to be a significant threat."
