Honestly it's not too dissimilar to my real job (although on a smaller scale and more granular). I certainly enjoy it, and certainly this game does a good job of making your efforts feel tangible.
Still though, sounds like an awfully rude question to be asked by someone. You can and should feel valued no matter what job you're doing.
