Samar sits at his desk, surrounded by codes and study notes, doing the work that now fills his days. Every so often, he glances at his scrubs hanging on the wall, feeling a quiet sense of nostalgia.

He recently became a surgeon, but chose to spend this year studying biostatistics instead of returning to the hospital. It’s a different kind of focus now. But this is just a pause between his two paths

We make so many decisions in life and that may seem very stressing and overwhelming. I’ve learned that whichever path we choose becomes the right one, because there is always something waiting for us there.
