She never imagined she would draw the attention of high society. A girl from the galapagos didn't really HAVE celebrities beyond a government official or a live performer.

That all changed when she had moved to vegas. Still a low level reporter, serving as a glorified advertiser for the venues on display. but people enjoyed her well enough, and she was seen for what she was as compared to home.

Cognizant brought about a level of fame she wasn't ready for. Shortly after Hypnovember, she received an invitation to the annual Royal Winter Venue, graciously offered by the Duke of Unknown, Alan Miller, who had taken a fancy to her broadcasts during his time in the VIP section of the Fin Fortuna.

A few nobles were starting to take notice of Cognizant and had to try for themselves.

She remembered how beet red her father's chest got when she said she was leaving the island. That no 'son' of his would be caught dead recognized in a dress.

Well look at her now, father. hobnobbing and schmoozing with beautiful people in fancy attire.

Just like her.
