sorry for your loss. my boy Gizmo will have been gone 2 years this june. he was with me all his life. 17 wonderful years. i still see his pics and want to cry. i miss him so much, i had his paw tattooed to my arm. best thing i ever did!

My cat underwent a difficult operation to remove her uterus. For about a year, she felt well and you could see how she became more lively despite her age. However, her body began to develop tumors in the mammary gland and rib areas. Unfortunately, no doctor wanted to take on such a case. The tumors were large, and she could no longer eat. All I could do was send her to be euthanized, be with her at that moment, and then pay for her cremation. I still cry for her every day and can't get used to the fact that she is no longer with me. Gizmo got sick in his last year. i knew it was coming. i worked my butt off trying to make him happy. and he really was. the day we drove him to the vet to be PTS i was broken. i could not stop crying as he lay in my arms quiet, it was the longest ride. he then looked up at me and gave me the eye flutter telling me its ok. i will never forget that. i got to hold them as they gave him the shots. i could not let him go for a long time after that.

so true. i wish i could give him some of my years and have him back ya know. they just dont live long enough. but we give them all the love we can. they become a huge part of our life.
