I've been through many iterations of dragons. Leviticus was my first and still very loved example. When I learned more about myself, I tried making all sorts of dragons to try and fit my perfect description of what felt right. It felt like each step got me closer, but something was still missing.
This is easily my favorite piece I've drawn this year, and definitely in a good while. It is very euphoric to finally have this concept drawn out. It's easy to say, this feels just perfect. I'm looking forward to getting to draw allll the dragon art 💚

Oh the claws are certainly a new thing, and the horns! The horns were the worse for me, trying to find new ways to sleep because they're poking out of my head! Hoarding... well I did that already, not much changed there, hehe xD
