About an hour south of Prineville Oregon, I went down a random jeep trail and found an amazing campsite that probably hasn't been visited in well over a few decades, about 100 feet away were the remnants of an old homestead from roughly the 1880's. Gotta love BLM land and the high desert <3. Always worth taking the path least traveled :)
