Kazooie's feet tapped onto the wooden floor of the hollowed out tree home, she walked with Banjo's thumpy footpaws following in tow. Looking around she saw it, an interesting Jiggy spinning as it often did, but the intrigue came from the glow. A glisten which when caught within your gaze, you couldn't look away.
Kazooie stared in awe, this one felt different. "Banjo! Get a load of this!"
Banjo scratched his head, eyeing the Jiggy. Floating. Spinning. Doing it's own thing.
"A Jiggy?" He asked scratching his head, it wasn't the first or last time they'd seen one on their adventures.
"I know that, bear breath! Something about this one feels strange, like if I had Chrysophilia, I'd be swirly eyed marching like a zombie for it." Kazooie clarified looking at the Jiggy spin away like it was in a microwave. The breegul tapped her foot, surprised the bear said nothing.
"Bear breath?" She turned to see the brown bear's eyes swirling, his mouth drooling and the Jiggy's gold allure calling to him. He held up his arms like a zombie, his big bare bear feet thumping as he took a step. Toes curling, grin growing, and eyes widening.
"Golden Jiggy... come to Banjo..." He muttered in a monotone voice, as Kazooie raised a brow and shook her head.
"Not everything that is gold is honey, you swirly eyed fool!" She spoke with a deep sigh. "Unless you really do have that gold fever, we got to get you some help, bear breath."
Hypnovember 2025 Day 2: Gold Bound
This one was unique. I really am trying to come up with interesting scenarios and ideas with a hypnotic twist. This one was fun. I had an idea that Banjo's brain relates honey to gold. So collecting Jiggys has conditioned his brain similarly before the grand adventures that he is hypnotized and drawn to them. I had a whole scene about it, but due to time cut it.
