A while ago I sketched out a duo of Pokemon characters that I wanted to have as my own since I tend to draw these two particular Pokemon often. I didn't want anything too different in their design, but I wanted them both named after and loosely themed around fruit. I went through a few different sketches and eventually settled on this for the first one.

Rather than make complete ref sheets for them and take a century to get them done I figured I'd just render the sketches and get them out the door. That way I can actually draw them in situations rather than stress that they're not perfect.

This is Yuzu; a Charizard with green wing membrane, yellow tail-flame and a love of citrus fruit. He is a gentle soul that is loyal to those around him. While he doesn't like direct conflict, he does enjoy friendly competition and an excuse to throw his weight around. He's firm and determined in his own way, but offering citrus fruit just might sway him to change his mind depending on how close you are to him. He also gives amazing hugs!

I'll have the second Pokemon done sometime in the future as well as draw them both together (Probably getting huge in some way. Most likely.) but until then, that's Yuzu!
